Financial Analyst Job Description

Monetary Metals leases and lends gold and silver to productive enterprises. Such businesses include bullion dealers, mints, refiners, and mining companies. We are experiencing rapid growth. The Financial Analyst is a member of our due diligence team, and will look at all aspects of the businesses we are considering financing.

Job Duties

· Perform credit analysis of prospective clients

· Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses of prospective clients

· Evaluate clients’ financial strength and credit worthiness

· Construct cash-flow models to project and analyse prospective clients’ financial statements

· Perform general ad hoc economic analyses in respect of economic and business trends

· Assist the deal origination team in new and ongoing transactions

· Simple contract revisions

· Other duties as assigned by management

· This position is fully remote, but may require some travel for site visits

· Employee will be provided a company computer

Qualifications

· A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a technical discipline.

· Strong familiarity with spreadsheet applications and model building

· Good communication skillsGood analytical skills

· Strong technical inclination

· Ability to work with concepts and numbers

· Current passport a plus

Compensation

· Negotiable base salary depending on experience
