Software Engineer Job Description

Monetary Metals is hiring a remote Software Engineer to join our team during this exciting growth phase. This position reports to the VP Software. This is a fully remote position, but the candidate must live in Phoenix, AZ area and attend training in-person for the first month of employment. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers. Job Duties

1. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
2. Develop diagrams and documentation for software solutions.
3. Write well-designed, testable code.
4. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.

Qualifications

1. Experience with React and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
2. Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and others is a plus.
3. Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, and Linux is a plus.
4. Experience building and scaling high-performance, fault-tolerant systems is a plus.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies is a plus.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
8. A college degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
